This type of scene is common in the Old Kingdom, with the oldest example found in the tomb of Merysankh at Giza. The men fight with long sticks with forked ends, and as they do so their words to each other have been captured in the hieroglyphics accompanying the scene, reflecting the different moments in the fight.
