Francisco Rapilado Munoz, 92, better known as "Compay Segundo", plays his guitar for a sell out audience at Mexico City's Hard Rock Cafe during his first concert in the Mexican capital in over six decades, August 12. Compay Segundo, considered the patriarch of Cuba's Son rhythm, was rediscovered two years ago after languishing in obscurity, [when U.S. blues guitarist Ry Cooder gathered a group of old Cuban musicians and recorded their classics] under the group name Buenavista Social Club. The record won a Grammy and Compay, along with other members of the band have since been thrust back into the limelight.
