Jameela Saleh (L-R), Nujoud Khairi and Hanan Rashid, members of the UAE's first female patrol force pose in Dubai. The three are part of a group of twenty women, clad in crisp blue uniforms, matching headscarfs and berets, who are bringing traffic to a stop in the UAE as they hit the streets of the conservative Moslem state. The United Arab Emirates' first female police patrol unit is bringing order to the streets of Ajman, filing accident reports and hauling over speeding drivers, who charge down the modern highways of the tiny emirate in their huge four-wheel drive vehicles and flashy sports cars.
