Five out of six passengers sitting inside a subway train in Hong Kong wear masks to protect themselves from catching a mysterious pneumonia virus, March 27, 2003. A day after Singapore ordered all schools closed, Hong Kong was considering its options in trying to stop severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) racing through the city of seven million after the deaths of 11 people, the government said.
