Vietnam, July 2007: Hanoi Hilton or Hoa Loa Prison. Built in 1904 by the French (Central House) for political prisoners, it was later used at the Vietcong to lock up American prisoners during the Vietnam War. Part of the prison still remains: it is a museum (Hoa Lo prison museum); on the other part, , was built a business center with Hanoi Tower, here a view of the guard room with air conditioning, memory of Ho Chi Minh and television: 3 fundamental things for contemporary Vietnamese society (acquisition of a modern property without forgetting history)
