Burgertrauung In Augsburg. Die alten Reichsstadte Augsburg, Nurnberg, Strassburg, Ulm u.a. haben, fur feierliche Gelegenheiten, lange an den alten Trachten festgehalten. Wie bei Hamburger Burgermeistern und Predigern noch heute, waren z.B. Halskrause, Allongeperucke, langer Mantel und Spitzenmanschetten bei geistlichen und weltlichen Amtshandlungen die vorgeschriebene Tracht. Translation: Civil Wedding in Augsburg. The old imperial cities of Augsburg, Nurnberg, Strassburg, Ulm and others have long retained the old costumes for festive occasions.
