Edward Julius Detmold

English painter, 1883-1957

Twin of Charles Maurice Detmold, who worked with his brother in a decorative style, often inspired by Japanese etchings. Their work achieved great success and was published in numerous periodicals and illustrated books, including Aesop's Fables and The Thousand and One Nights.
