Italian sculptor, 1600-1656

Domenico was one of the sculptors employed on the architect Giulio Parigi's renovation and embellishment of Palazzo Pitti and the Boboli Gardens in Florence. He also created important works for the Barberini in Rome. He is noted for his picturesque naturalism and the open format of his sculpture groups. Italian sculptor.
