The east wall of the hall of the Lilies of the Palazzo Vecchio is the one completely frescoed; the fresco cycle is divided into three vertical bands decorated with a perspective illusion of round arches; the central one is decorated with Saint Zenobius with the saints Eugene and Crescentius, and the two side with the Illustrious Men and Roman heroes: Brutus, Mucius Scaevola, Camillus, Decius, Scipio and Cicero; six medallions of Roman emperors fill the space between the various sections of the frescoes Domenico Ghirlandaio Museo di Palazzo Vecchio
