Red and black headline on the ochre background of a pencil drawing by Dutch constructivist architect Jan Duiker representing a cinema; the sketch, intended for Kleine-Gartmanplantsoen in Amsterdam (1930-1934), shows an extremely moving facade, in which the ground floor has a serrated surface for half of his width, at the inlet, and a semicircular recess on the right flank; over the entrance, a tall wall with a square pattern bears the letters of the word Variété, while further back, on the upper part of the drawing, a bigger poster, on a curved surface, states the word SCALA.
