A three-quarter-length portrait, seated in white satin dress and blue Fortuny coat, her hands on her lap. The chair on which she sits is one of the white and gilt Italian pinewood chairs at Attingham of c.1810. She is wearing an evening cloak from Mariano Fortuny, Venice, circa 1923, which is preserved in the Attingham collection (see National Trust Inventory Number 609818).
