Sir Gerald Festus Kelly, PRA (London 1879 – London 1972). Oil painting on canvas, Edith Teresa Hulton, Lady Berwick (1890-1972) by Sir Gerald Festus Kelly , PRA (London 1879 – London 1972), 1923. A three-quarter-length portrait, seated in white satin dress and blue Fortuny coat, her hands on her lap. The chair on which she sits is one of the white and gilt Italian pinewood chairs at Attingham of c.1810. She is wearing an evening cloak from Mariano Fortuny, Venice, circa 1923, which is preserved in the Attingham collection (see National Trust Inventory Number 609818). See also National Trust Inventory Numbers 608166.2.1 and 608166.2.2 showing one of pair of chairs in which Lady Berwick is sitting. Daughter of William Stokes Hulton (1852-1921) and Costanza Mazini (1863–1939); married Thomas Henry Noel-Hill, 8th Baron Berwick of Attingham (1877-1947) on 30 June 1919 Attingham Park, Shropshire (Accredited Museum)
