Lady Anna Maria Brudenell, Countess of Shrewsbury (1642-1702) A three-quarter-length portrait of a woman, turnd to the left gazing at the spectator, her brown hair dressed with pears at the back, she also has a pearl necklace and drop-pearl earrings. She is wearing a blue dress with white sleeves and a pale mauve gold-striped scarf draped over her right shoulder and falling in front, the folds of which she holds in front in both her hands. Behind and on the right is a stone pedestal on which there sits a marble bust of a man in in profile to left. On left a heavy orange drape, gathered up in folds.
