Image title
Aquatic Mosaiculture in Chaumont sur Loire, Festival du jardin de Chaumont sur Loire (Chaumont-sur-Loire), 2001. In homage to the beautiful mosaics of Zeugma drowned under the Euphrates, here is an 18th century Anglo-Chinese rococo motif. A crystal gabion fountain dominates the ensemble. The drawing is that of a cross of ellipses made of slatted and water lenses contained in unduline. Clumps of arum serve as a box for plastic flowers hung in aquariums. The goldfish escaped. They swim in the mirrors because the sky has changed into a bathtub to please Greco. A nod to the kitsch, idyllic and well-waxed images of Pierre and Gilles. Reflections in the abime. References for mosaic.
