A Child Buried Alive Saved by Dogs (Colour Litho)

Saved from the dogs a child buried alive. In a moment of mental aberration, a mother deposed her 10-month-old son Michelino in a hole in Pineta Torlonia, near Fiumicino (Rome), covered him with sand, then fled. The boy could get his head out. The next day, two hunters walk around the pine forest. The two dogs that accompany them run away, after a short run they stop at a pit; Melampo scrapes the ground, the other barks. The hunters come and see the child. They pick it up.
