Tragic adventure in a California desert. Departing in a jeep in search of land to colonize, four Americans reached the Mohave desert. At a certain point the car flutters in the sand. What to do? One of the four headed to a place not so far away where he hoped to find people and help. The others were waiting without food and with very little water. Forty-eight hours hard the fight against the scorching heat and thirst. Two explorers died in atrocious suffering; the survivors were rescued by means of helicopters.
