Fisher, nicknamed the notorious "Long Island Lolita" for shooting her lover's wife in the head, walked out of prison on Monday after serving nearly seven years behind bars for the attack. Now 24, Fisher, who as a teenager was at the center of the bizarre case that spawned television dramas, books and countless headlines, had been in prison since 1992, when she pleaded guilty to shooting Mary Jo Buttafuoco on the porch of the woman's home in the suburban Long Island town of Massapequa. A 16-year-old at the time, Fisher was having an affair with Buttafuoco's husband Joey, the owner of an automobile body shop. He later served six months in jail for statutory rape. JT/HB/WS
