St Omer Psalter England [Mulbarton, co. Norfolk?]; circa 1325-1330 Language: Latin Source/Shelfmark: Yates Thompson 14, f.7 [Whole folio] Psalm 1, beginning with initial 'B', the Tree of Jesse. Branches spring from Jesse, and include miniatures of David, Solomon, the Virgin and Child, and Moses and Elijah. Borders with nine medallions with scenes from Genesis, from the Creation to the Drunkenness of Noah; with many figures, animals, and birds. In lower border, two praying figures, representing the owners of the book; the man clothed in arms of the St Omer family Image taken from St Omer Psalter. Originally published/produced in England [Mulbarton, co. Norfolk?]; circa 1325-1330, and early 15th century.
