III Reich - Gotha Vehicule Factory Planes 1938 (photo)

The Nazi propaganda image shows a German Wehrmacht Gotha Go 149 (above) and Gotha Go 150 (below). Published in July 1938. A Nazi reporter has written on the reverse of the picture, "Two new models of German planes. On the first Nazi Air Corps international flight from Frankfurt am Main on the 30-31/7, two newly developed models from the Gotha Vehicle Factory Company, 'Go 149' (above) and 'Go 150' (below) were also on display. Go '149' is a cantilevered one-seated airplane with a cabin, low wings and a retractable landing gear. It is fitted with a 200/240 PS Argus-As-10-C-Motor. The 'Go 150' model is a double-motored cantilevered airplane with a cabin and low wings. It has two side by side seats and double steering.
