Oslo 19671019 Principal Hans Vogt (1903-1986) Former chair of the Vogt Committee. The Vogt Committee was appointed in 1964 and delivered its final recommendation on March 23, 1966. The committee was referred to as the "Language Peace Committee" and its mandate was to make a comprehensive assessment of the language situation in Norway, after the authorities' co-Norwegian policy had failed.
