Xuefeng Temple held a welcoming ceremony for the return of the jade Buddha statues on Saturday. Three statues were put in the main hall under police escort. Three valuable jade Buddha statues which were presented by Burmese King at the end of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) were stolen in Xuefeng Temple on Oct. 15. After six days' great efforts by Fuzhou police, the jade Buddha statues were eventually traced and six suspects were arrested.
