Psychological Tests Rorschach inkblot test, 1921. This test, designed by Hermann Rorschach (1884-1922), is from a book published by Hans Huber of Bern, Switzerland. A psychological projective test, the Rorschach test is used to assess an individual's personality by asking a subject to describe what he or she sees in ten bilaterally symmetrical inkblots.
