Christ is shown in a mandorla ascending into Heaven, with the hand of God reaching down to him. He carries a cross staff, symbolizing his triumph over death. He is flanked by four angels, and below on the hill are gathered the Virgin, St. Peter, and apostles, who are shown in a gesture of prayer.The blessing, begins with initial 'B'.
