Three-quarter length portraits, of a lady seated at the right, wearing a white satin dress with a laced bodice topped with a dark grey bow and a large pearl, tiered lace collar, over-sleeve tied with brooch and bow, small jewels in hair; and a young woman standing at left, wearing a blue dress with mauve ribbons, with pink and white sleeves, pink ribbons holding blue over-sleeves, wearing white glove on right hand and holding left glove, holding an ostrich-feather fan in left hand, ribbon in hair, pearls around decolette, wired shaped rabat collar.
