Five full-length portraits, Edward Dryden with formal high grey wig, white cravat, blue jacket and brown cloak standing right, with the future Sir John in front with grey parrot and dog. His sister in pale mauve, centre, and Elizabeth Dryden in a pale green blue dress seated left with a baby seated on a red draped plinth, with a formal garden behind.
