Cuban farmers are blown around on their oxcart by winds from Hurricane Lili, in the town of Ovas in the island's Pinar del Rio province, 150 miles (90 miles) west of Havana, October 1, 2002. Lili drenched parts of Cuba early on Tuesday as it gained force on a path for the Gulf of Mexico. A day after pounding Jamaica, where flood waters and mudslides killed four people, the storm hit Cuba's south coast packing 85 mile-an-hour (140 kph) winds and heavy rains. Lili was following the same track as Hurricane Isidore, which caused extensive flooding in the western tip of Cuba only 11 days ago, before battering Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula.
