Traumatised survivors of the bombing of the western Eritrean town of Barentu, Gherghinh Andom (L) and her daughter Akberet Habton, sit after receiving treatment in Keren Hospital 18 May. The womens' hometown Barentu, a vital Eritrean supply centre for the western front, has come under intensive bombardment by Ethiopia, causing thousands of internally displaced people to flee north from the war between two of the world's poorest countries over a border dispute.
