C’ Squadron and infantry co-operation in the Tilburg area during a practice before the battles of the Reichswald Forest, 1945. Photograph, World War Two, North West Europe, 1945. British infantry, probably from the King’s Royal Rifle Corps, hitch a ride on Sherman tanks of 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry during a training exercise prior to the advance into Germany. From an album containing 222 photographs and captions compiled by Major W H J Sale, MC, 3rd/4th County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters).
