Hutmacher. Das Hutmachergewerbe nahm mit dem Eindringen der spanischen Mode in Deutschland einen grossen Aufschwung. Anstelle des Baretts trat der steife schwarze Filzhut mit Band und Federschmuck. Um gegen die mannigfaltigen Barettformen nicht zu einformig zu wirken, mussten die Hutmacher mit Geschick durch kleine Abweichungen der Krempen- und Kopfform Abwechslung schaffen.
