Tanzfest Bei Hofe. Der Gesellschaftstanz des Mittelalters war im Gegensatz zu den Hupftanzen der Bauern ein gemessenes Schreiten. Ahnlich der heutigen Polonase schritt man paarweise hintereinander durch den Saal und folgte einem Vortanzer, oder die Tanzenden bildeten eine zu verschiedenen Figuren sich schlingende Kette. Die Bewegungen entsprachen dem langsamen Rhythmus der Musik. Translation: Dance Festival at Court.
