Four Alsatian climbers who attempted the risky ascent of the Hebertet, in the Aosta Valley, at almost four thousand meters, were surprised at the summit by a sudden collapse of rocks. Warned by the roar, they could avoid each other; but the rope leader was touched by the boulders, and one of the companions had to cut off on the spot, with the sharpener, a finger left crushed.
